1 Talk to a local business association

First of all, get in touch with one of the island associations like MICDA, TOBMI or MIRRA to find out what's happening at the grassroots level.

Each of these associations are made up of people who are passionate about Magnetic Island and are ready to help you with your new endeavour.

2 Get some help with your advertising
We're lucky to have some very skilled graphic designers and advertising savvy right here on
the island. You can find them here under 'graphics'.

3 Tell the press

4 Advertise
Make sure that you're listed in the prominent island advertising publications. These include:

5 Make a splash
- Tell everyone about it!

• Talk to a local island events manager to make your debut more fun and effective
• Offer a door prize or discount as an incentive for your grand opening
• Get your advertising and marketing message ready for your big launch!
