Magnetic Island Nature Care Association
Magnetic Island Nature Care Association (MINCA) exists to help ensure that the species, habitats and biodiversity of World Heritage Magnetic Island and its adjacent waters are not damaged by human activity; and that development occurs in line with sustainability and the needs of future generations.
MINCA also works to re-vegetate, weed and manage areas on Magnetic Island, as well as lobby for good environmental policies and practices at all levels.
Their current projects inluce the new low carbon diet inter-bay challenge, plus the new 'Carbon Cuts' short film competition.
