West African Drum and Dance Workshops with Griot Master Epizo Bangoura - Easter Weekend 3 & 4 April, Magnetic Island.
Master Epizo Bangoura will be back on Magnetic Island this Easter weekend for a series of drum and dance workshops. Everyone of all ages and beginners are encouraged to join in this wonderful chance of learning and experiencing the magic of West African culture of drumming and dancing.
Master Epizo Bangoura will be back on Magnetic Island this Easter weekend for a series of drum and dance workshops. Everyone of all ages and beginners are encouraged to join in this wonderful chance of learning and experiencing the magic of West African culture of drumming and dancing.
The weekend workshops will end with a musical concert on Sunday evening at Amaroo on Mandalay featuring the ‘Drum and Dance Participants performance’, and Master Epizo on Kora, Balafon and Djembe together with various musicians on the Island.
Dinner and beverages are available from 6pm at Amaroo on Mandalay Up The Garden Path Restaurant.
