Raffle for Mitochondrial Disease - please give generously
Mitochondrial Disease, a rare degenerative genetic disorder which affects all of the cells in the body. People with this disease can be affected in many ways, loss of sight, hearing, balance, and debilitating loss of energy.
One such young woman, Chloe Jones, who grew up on the Island, has given permission for us to dedicate the proceeds of the Raffle which will be held at the Spring Equinox Fair this Sat 21 Sept, to support the research of the Australian Mitochondrial Disease Foundation.
We thank Chloe, and her family, and wish her well. Please support this valuable research by buying tickets on the day, or go to https://stayinbedday2013.everydayhero.com/au/peter for more information.
Raffle tickets will be available on the day at the Fair. We would like to thank everyone who gave genourously for this cause.
