• Introduction To The Sounder Sleep System

As a result of living in this fast-paced society, your natural biological rhythms can become disturbed, affecting your ability to sleep soundly. During this course you'll learn to reduce tension, cultivate calmness and create the conditions for restful sleep.

Simple, repeatable, gentle movement-and-breathing techniques practiced now and then through the course of the day can give you the tools you need to combat the effects of stress and set the stage for satisfying sleep.

You’ll also learn about stress-induced hyperarousal, its impacts on people experiencing bouts of insomnia and what you can do to counteract it.

When:
Tuesdays 9th - 30th April 2013 (4 weeks)
6.30-8pm

Where:
Horseshoe Bay, Magnetic Island 4819 (Address to be supplied upon registration).

Who are these classes for?
This course will suit those who can comfortably lie on the floor (on a rug) on their back, side and/or tummy for 30 minutes, or who can sit comfortably in a chair or on the floor for 30 minutes.

Course fees:
4 sessions: $66/$48 concession
(Concession = Pension and Concession card holders)

What to bring:

• Wear comfortable clothes that you can move easily in, e.g. shorts/trackpants and T-shirt/loose top, (no skirts, belts, buckles or buttons). It's also best to remove your glasses, jewellery and watch.
• Bring two large, thick rugs or mats to lie on, a large towel (to be used as a roller or support), a pillow and a water bottle.
