Townsville has been selected as one of three centres in Queensland to present ARTS MATTERS – a two-day seminar/workshop programme about building regional creativity and capacity.
The cost of the two-day programme is $30 (including lunches, and morning and afternoon teas). Registrations are still open.
Participants attending the ARTS MATTERS Workshops will be treated to in-depth discussions and presentations on a range of topics including strategic approaches to achieving regional prosperity and sustainability through creativity. The successful practices of regional centres will be explored, as well as assets and strengths that can be drawn upon to harness creativity power.
ARTS MATTERS is a joint effort between ArtsLink, James Cook University and Townsville City Council, and will be facilitated by cultural sustainability advisor Dr. Ros Derrett, O.A.M. This is a must-attend seminar for all interested arts and culture workers.
