Cockle Bay Environments
This diverse little corner of the island has seen many changes but it’s still a special place. Come and find out a bit more about its history and natural values. We’ll start on the West Point Road just beyond the Golf Club at the large tank at 9.00am. It will be a loop walk through the Cockle Bay bush block to the waterfall, a transect through mangroves to the western mudflats, and then out to Cockle Bay before returning to the tank at about 11.30. The walk is about 4km return. Consider your footwear as we will be doing some mud walking. All welcome. Remember water, hat and sunscreen.
