MINCA's Weed n Wine returns again on Sunday from 3pm at Claude's Block along the West Point Road. Last WnW we made some great progress around the buildings and made a major attack on the huge lantana patch in the old veggie garden area. We plan to follow up this Sunday with some strategic weeding near the big shed and continue the lantana demolition - a task likely to be very satisfying following the recent rain. It couldn't be a better time to come out and join the WnW with beautiful cool weather and great company for a drink afterwards.
Meet at 3.00pm at Claude's Block, 570 West Point Rd about 350m beyond Sunglow Avenue.
Wear long sleeves and legs, hat and insect repellent recommended.
