Come and support a good cause, with great food and music at Base Backpacker's 5th Beats & Eats Fundraiser on Saturday 7th August.
This is a pink ribbon fundraiser for Women's Breast Cancer from 1pm to late, and includes food from Shaka, Island Burger and Ceylon Curry Corner, plus live music by Caitlin Cox from 2pm, AND a HUGE raffle!
The beachside venue with panoramic tropical views on Magnetic Island will transform to host local food trucks, market stalls, musicians and other attractions to provide an incredible community event suitable for people of all ages and families.
With food trucks providing a wide arrange of delicious different cuisines, local market stalls selling their quality hand crafted goods, musicians providing a soundtrack to the day and a huge raffle draw with prizes filled from the generous offerings of local businesses all in the name of raising money for this important cause, there are so many reasons to come down and visit our slice of paradise.
Past Beats n' Eats events have been a monumental force in helping local community projects gather extra funding and awareness and this time we are using this brand to help a cause that has impacted or touched our lives in one way or another.
So on the 7th August we’ll see you there for good food, good music, good vibes and most importantly a good cause.
