You're invited to join 'The Essentials' Exhibition Opening at MIHCC on Sunday 14 April at 2pm.
When the Butler family came to live on Magnetic Island in 1876, there were no services at all. As more people made the Island their home there was a growing need for various amenities – places to moor boats, tracks to move about on, water to drink. The Essentials, exhibition to presents the development of these basic services on Magnetic Island.
Free entry - donations are appreciated.
Magnetic Island History & Craft Centre incorporating Magnetic Museum 11-15 Granite Street, Picnic Bay.
Open daily from 10 am to 2 pm except Tuesdays.
