Have you ever wanted to try weaving a basket? Well this is your chance! Sally Moroney will be holding a coiled basket workshop at the History and Craft Centre at Picnic Bay on Saturday 28th April, from 1pm-4pm. Participants will learn to create a basket from natural and re-cycled materials, including beach-rope, fishing net, vege bags, and all sorts of interesting stuff! No experience necessary, and all materials provided, plus afternoon tea! It’s an easy and fun workshop and you will complete your own unique basket. Places are limited, but she could also hold a workshop on the morning of Monday 30th if anyone is interested.
