**BDF: Skateboard Jam & Urban Art - CANCELLED

Location: Magnetic Island Skate Park - Horseshoe Bay
NEWS FLASH!! - Unfortunately Townsville City Council has made the decision at 3pm this afternoon to cancel the Skate Jam and Urban Art Party on Magnetic Island tomorrow for safety reasons due to the rain. As a result, we won’t be proceeding with the artists presentation at the Smart Lifestyle Centre tomorrow.
The work of the artists is beautiful and we are disappointed that we won’t be presenting them and their work tomorrow but we will reschedule the presentation as soon as we have had the opportunity to review alternative dates.

(Original event listing: FEATURE FESTIVAL EVENT: Townsville Youth Council presents a skate jam and urban art day, including demonstrations, aerosol art workshops, scooter workshops, skate/BMX/scooter competition and great prizes. Bring your scooter, BMX, skateboard and safety gear. Ages 12-25. All competition entrants will need parental permission on registration. Registration for workshops and competition on site at 10.30am. Alcohol and drug free.)
