Experience the skills and different processes involved in creating the simplest vessel and the delight and spectacle of raku firing!

Saturday 3 Oct: ‘Working With Clay’ Ceramic Workshop
Time: 10.00am-2.00pm
Jenny Mulcahy and her team of experienced potters will assist you to explore different hand-building techniques. Bisque fired pots will also be available to purchase and glaze on the Saturday for firing on Sunday for those more interested in glazes, rather than creating vessels.
Cost: $10pp for workshop and/or $20pp to purchase pots.

Sunday 4 Oct: ‘Raku Firing’ Ceramic Workshop
Time: 10.00am-2.00pm
Raku firing for Saturday participants. Others are welcome to enjoy the spectacle of watching the red hot pots coming out of the kiln and being placed in combustible material...... this can be very exciting!
Cost: FREE entry.

At: Gustuv Creek Studio, Lot 5 /106 Mandalay Avenue (The Hideaway), Nelly Bay. (Just before the start of the bush track, at the opposite end of Mandalay to where the shops are on Sooning Street.)
