Don’t miss The Rubens when they hit The Island Bar, Base Magnetic Island on Saturday 17th October (starting at 3pm). With local, interstate and international support announcements coming in the coming days - this is set to be a massive show!
The Rubens head out on one of their biggest tours to date, when they hit the road for the Hoops National Tour to celebrate the release of their sophomore album of the same title. They will be playing fans tunes from Hoops along with some old favourites from their highly acclaimed, self-titled debut. This will be the first time the band have toured the country since their mammoth ‘Never Be The Same’ tour which saw them sell out three Forum Theatres and two Enmore Theatres.
With new single ‘Hallelujah’ caressing airwaves across the nation, fans have been given a taste of what they can expect from Hoops. Fans can be sure that all the new songs will translate seamlessly into the live setting, with front man Sam Margin stating:
“We put more of a focus on how the songs would work in a live setting for this album. We wanted to write songs that would be fun for us to play live as well as fun for our audience to listen and move to.”
The band can’t wait to unleash their new tracks live, so don’t miss your chance to see them on this run of shows. A special limited allocation of presale tickets will be available on Moshtix and hard copies with your local Townsville legends by the end of the week.
