Base Backpackers - Nelly Bay
Full Moon Down Under NYE at Base Backpackers Magnetic Island looks to be massive with some of world's biggest DJ's hitting the shores of Magnetic Island. Hotel Arcadia - Arcadia
It's gonna be a rocking New Years Eve at Hotel Arcadia this year with 45RPM hitting the stage with some rock and roll classic dance hits. Starting from 8pm until 1am.
Free entry.

Marlin Bar - Horseshoe Bay
Blues session at the Marlin Bar with Tim Griffin and Jarrah Jones from 8pm until late.

Peppers Blue On Blue - Nelly Bay
Celebrate New Year's Eve in style with a 4 course degustation menu and live music from Sera-Jane Moore. $120 per person including a welcome drink. Children (12 and under) $35 per child including childrens' portion main and ice cream.

Picnic Bay Hotel, R&R Bar - Picnic Bay
The live music starts at 8pm until late at Picnic Bay Hotel with live music from 'Say What'. Dinner is available from the R&R Restaurant from 5.30pm-8pm, and you'll be able to see the Townsville fireworks from the Picnic Bay jetty.
Sandi's On Magnetic Island
Party into 2015 with local DJ 'That Ginger Guy'. Mixing the beats from 2pm until 2am plus a great selection of tapas, german specialities, local seafood, pizzas and juicy steaks. A full dinner menu is available from 6pm as well as canapés as a lighter option for those not wanting a heavy dinner.

Fireworks At Midnight - Nelly Bay
Celebrate the end of 2014 and the start of 2015 with the New Year fireworks display at midnight on the Nelly Bay Breakwall area (near the 'Eye To The Sky' sculpture). Best viewing spots are: the boat ramp car park (off Kelly St), the northern end of Nelly Bay beach, Peppers Blue On Blue deck, and the area by the barge ramp next to the ferry terminal. Proudly sponsored by the Townsville City Council.

White Line Service FREE TRAVEL every 30 minutes
Ex Horseshoe Bay and Picnic Bay: 8pm - 4.40am
Ex Ferry Terminal: 10pm - 5.30am
Magnetic Island buses will be running every 30 minutes through NYE to New Years Day with a 'White Line' service for the early hours. This means that they will only be running the main road from Horseshoe to Picnic Bays, with the main stop at the ferry terminal. Enjoy your night!
