We need a ban on Dredge Spoil Dumping! Join us on the Strand at 10am on Sunday 19 October with Act Now and in conjunction with other local groups for a fun, family friendly event to demand a ban to dumping dredge spoil in the reefs waters. Local tour operators, other businesses and community members concerned about the reef will gather on the beach next to Tobruk pool for a boat flotilla and march along the Strand. This will be followed by  inspiring speakers, music and food at Burke St Headland. Smaller vessels (kayaks, paddle boards, outriggers) will gather in formation with larger boats (sail boats, tinnies) dressed in banners. An aerial photo will be taken.
