The Australian Ceramics Association is having its annual OPEN STUDIO WEEKEND on the 16th & 17th August. Over 130 potters and ceramic artists throughout Australia will be opening their studios to the public on this weekend.

Visitors will have the opportunity to see how a studio functions, maybe get their hands dirty playing with clay, ask questions and have the opportunity to purchase a unique piece of ceramic work at studio prices.

Jenny has been a professional potter and sculptor for over 30 years and first established her studio, The Nelly Bay Pottery in 1984. She holds a PhD in Creative Arts and has exhibited extensively in Australia and internationally.

She has recently completed two major public sculptures for Jezzine Barracks in Townsville. She has also recently returned from being the International Artist in Residence at the Aberystwyth Art Centre in Wales where her work is currently being exhibited.
