Magnetic Island has three boat ramps with easy access at:
• Horseshoe Bay
• Nelly Bay Harbour
• Picnic Bay

Please be aware that fishing zones exist around Magnetic Island.
We suggest you pick up a zoning map so you know where you can go and what you can do to ensure you have a great day fishing and boating.

It's becoming more popular every year, with approximately 23 entries in it's first year (2009) 56 entries in 2010 increasing to 86 in the 2011 season. Perfectly placed between the Airlie Beach Race Week and Hamilton Island Race Week, Magnetic Island offers a fun, friendly and more relaxed pace for the race carnival.
