Magnetic Island Fauna Care Organisation (MIFCO)
MIFCO is an organisation of volunteers who work tirelessly to look after Magnetic Island's wildlife.
Injured wildlife
If you see any animals in distress call the Magnetic Island Fauna Care Organization on 0457 634 732. and visit mifco.org for extra information on care of your injured animal or bird before your carer arrives.
For injured and orphaned wallabies call the Wallaby Refuge on Magnetic Island on 0400 243 842.
Wildlife Training
Currently, the Townsville based organization North Queensland Wildlife Care Inc. provides basic training courses on wildlife care.
